How We Got Started

PEER 1 Hosting was founded in Canada in 1999 by two successful business leaders, Lance Tracey and Mark Teolis, who had the foresight to see what the Internet could do for companies of all sizes – if the technology was affordable, accessible and totally reliable. With a focus on simplicity, unprecedented response times and great customer service, they built up a business that provides the expertise and technology which many organisations lack and is a far more cost-effective alternative to in-house solutions.
When we launched in the UK in 2009 it was with the same core principles, which is why we have gained and retained clients that run some of the busiest and fastest-growing websites in the country. We already host more domains than any other company in the UK and we’re growing at 100% each year.
