As an organization, we obsess over our network performance and deliver our customers excellent value and the friendliest, most reliable services in the industry. As an employer, we obsess over our people. Quite simply, they're what make us – our not-so-secret ingredient!

What's in a Name?

PEER 1 Hosting was founded on the concept of peering, which involves two networks coming together to exchange traffic with each other freely, and for mutual benefit. Kind of like all 400+ of us exchange knowledge with each other throughout our work day.

Our name also hints at how we feel about hierarchy. Everyone needs a boss, but there's no place for bossiness here. We're peers. So that's what we call ourselves.

PEER Values

No two PEERS are identical. What we all share though is a willingness to dream big, to do more than someone expects, to measure ourselves against the best. It's our DNA and we're proud of it.

Work Environment

Just like no two PEERs are alike, each of our locations has its own special traditions. Here's what life's like at a few of our offices:


Southampton, UK
Our UK PEERS have a great sense of humour. Play a round of golf on the indoor golf course, get £100 to find new ways to improve the business, and celebrate both wins and mistakes at the infamous monthly team meeting. It's so much fun here, we even bet new PEERS £1,000 that they won't want to leave after two weeks on the job. No one ever does.

Vancouver
Location, location, location. Our Vancouver office is centered between three prime neighbourhoods: downtown, Gastown and Coal Harbour. Take a walk along the seawall at lunch or schedule a meeting in one of the area's dozens of coffee shops. Play some foosball in the PEER lounge, and finish your day by heading across the street for drinks with some of your favourite PEERS.

Atlanta
Our Atlanta office is another great location, and this team is serious about having fun at work! It's a relaxed environment here, where PEERS strive for excellence at the same time as they're pulling practical jokes. If you like playing pool and nerf, you'll love our Atlanta crew.

San Antonio
Another awesome office! Our San Antonio location is known for its delicious free snacks and Friday barbeques, and for its laid-back style. Wanna wear sandals and your Hawaiian shirt to work? You wouldn't be the only one!
